Adawgm Ts’msyen/Tsimshian Stories: Arts in the Park
Join us as we bring Tsimshian art to parks all over Seattle. This series brings together Indigenous artists and the community to share in the living traditions of the Northwest Coast. Live weaving demonstrations, storytelling and hands on community projects.

Connections to Culture Grant from the Bill Holm Center
This project brings together weavers Janice Lonergan, Jackie Jainga Hyllseth, and Rebecca Zellerhoff for a dedicated research residency at the Burke Museum. Their Tsimshian Killerwhale Tail Clan Robe is a project of profound cultural and technical significance, utilizing research at the Burke Museum to bridge ancestral techniques with contemporary weaving.

Kickin' It Indi-city
We are honored to showcase the beauty of traditional weaving for a global audience at Pier 62 during the World Cup Indigenous celebrations. Hosted by the Native Action Network and the City of Seattle, this project brings our living textile traditions to the waterfront to share our culture with visitors from around the world.
